Thursday: Vocabulary mastery of units 1-3 in iRespond; finalize flood comparison body paragraphs; continue working on note cards for Senior Project Research Paper.
Monday: MUG #8; students received mastery of a failing vocabulary quiz (DUE THURSDAY); as all but one student received a 100 on properly citing evidence from the Gilgamesh worksheet, we reviewed the how to properly embed quotations within writing; finally, students received flood comparison paragraph (Rough Drafts due TOMORROW).

Wednesday: Unit 2-Origins & Traditions Pretest; begin notes on Hero's Journey
Thursday: Receive 2nd set of unit 3 Vocabulary terms, write 10 sentences using vocabulary terms, five of which need to properly use a possessive apostrophe; Watch video on background and history of ancient Mesopotamia; begin taking notes on elements and conventions of an epic and from The Epic of Gilgamesh.
Friday: Finish notes on the epic and from The Epic of Gilgamesh; being reading and citing evidence to support questions from the text.
